The Big Brown House sits on one of the largest plots of lakefront on Caspian Lake. With 375 feet of frontage, there are ample places to swim and explore. Directly in front of the house is the traditional swimming spot for adults with a hard bottom and an aluminum dock that leads out as well as a raft to swim to. To the house's left is "boathouse beach." In 2005, the boathouse that had been on the property since just after the house was built was removed because it was slowly falling into the lake. In the boathouse's place is a sandy beach that has a very gradual dropoff. Because it is shallow, it is perfect for small children to play in, to dig, and to splash around. This is one of the few "beaches" on Caspian Lake, and here you have it all for yourself.
