Rental Information
The Big Brown House is often fully rented over a year in advance. Occasionally there is a week or two that is available. We prefer rentals longer than one week, but one week is our minimum rental period— from Saturday to Saturday. We do not rent for large events such as weddings. We also have dogs, and love dogs, but we do not allow dogs for our renters. Dog behavior is just too variable. We rent for 1-3 weeks in June, most of July, and a week or two in August. We use the place the rest of the time. Barb at Watson’s Real Estate is awesome at finding rentals for people, but she has been overwhelmed with interest in rentals, so please be understanding and patient, because there is more demand than supply.
